” Difficult Roads often lead to beautiful destinations.”
No one regrets having a destination wedding. It is not uncommon for couples to scrap their original wedding plans and revamp it entirely. Some do it because the stress of the details and growing costs weigh them down. Others because of family conflicts. Mainly, couples modify their plans when it is necessary to reduce stress, add more fun, cut costs, or refocus on what is important to them. This wedding was one for the books! It is from a few years ago actually but it was timeless enough to reshare. This couple took their NJ wedding and rerouted it to Puerto Rico. It was hands-down, the best decision. They just belonged there. The setting, the people, the surfing, the colors…it all echoed who they were as a couple. They followed their heart and it paid-off. Years later and people are still talking about this wedding. Destination weddings are something we like to do once or twice a year. It gives us an opportunity soak in some inspiration from a new place. Surprisingly, costs are usually only slightly higher then what you would be paying for a resort provided photographer. So again, this collection is an oldie but a goodie! Enjoy!
